Our free sudoku puzzles are provided in four categories based on the level of difficulty. The categories, very easy sudoku, easy sudoku, medium sudoku and hard sudoku, have different sizes of puzzle grids. The very easy sudoku category requires four digits or letters. The easy category requires nine digits. The medium category requires sixteen and the hard level requires 25 letters. The free sudoku puzzle pages, except for the hard sudoku pages, will contain more than one puzzle and solution. The very easy sudoku pages contain four puzzles, the easy sudoku and the medium sudoku pages contain two puzzles while the hard sudoku pages contain only one puzzle with its solution. The pages are sized to print on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. Printing your puzzles is easy. Simply click the button below each puzzle labeled "Print This Puzzle" and a new window will open with only the puzzle page, ready to print.

We are always adding new puzzles in all categories. For the absolute newest puzzles, check our our daily sudoku page. Our daily sudoku area contains new free sudoku puzzles every single day. The puzzle may be for any of our four levels of difficulty. All of our daily sudoku puzzle pages will be added to the regular categories on a regular basis. Check back for new free sudoku puzzles.

Daily Sudoku Puzzle

Our daily sudoku puzzle page contains the daily sudoku for today. Every day there is a new puzzle page containing brand new free sudoku puzzles. The puzzles here are not yet installed elsewhere on our site. They will be added, however, after they have appeared here. The daily sudoku puzzles are different every day and they may be any of our four levels of difficulty. We add new puzzles to our daily sudoku area randomly. After a day here the puzzle goes into its category on our site to be available to print or copy and to play again. Enjoy your daily sudoku puzzle every day!

Very Easy Sudoku Puzzles

These are our very easiest sudoku puzzles. They are created on a 2 x 2 grid. The numbers 1 through 4 or the letters A, B, C and D are used for these sudoku puzzles. The numbers and letters are not mixed in the puzzles. The very easy sudoku puzzle pages will contain four puzzles on each page and will use either all numbers or all letters. There are about forty very easy sudoku puzzles among ten pages in this category. All sudoku puzzles can be printed on your printer right now absolutely free.

Easy Sudoku Puzzles

Our easy sudoku puzzles are created on a 3 x 3 grid. This size is the most popular and sometimes this size of puzzle is refered to as 9 x 9 grid. The numbers 1 through 9 are used on some of the puzzles while the letters A through I are used for some of the others. The numbers and letters are not mixed in the puzzles. The easy sudoku puzzles will be either all numbers or all letters. There are two puzzles and their solutions on each puzzle page.

Medium Sudoku Puzzles

Our medium sudoku puzzles are created on a 4 x 4 grid. The numbers 0 through 9 along with the letters A through F are used for these puzzles. This means that there will be numbers and letters mixed together to solve the puzzle. The 4 x 4 size grid requires sixteen digits and/or letters. This will make things a little more difficult.

Hard Sudoku Puzzles

These are the hardest sudoku puzzles on our site. Our hard sudoku puzzles are created on a 5 x 5 grid. This means that they will require twenty-five letters. The letters A through Y are used for these puzzles. These puzzles are so large that we only have one puzzle, along with its solution, on each puzzle page. Currently, we have ten hard sudoku puzzles in this category which can be printed on your printer absolutely free. We are always adding new puzzles in all categories.
